Enchanted Forest

Throughout this realm this character is known as Prince Charming. He was raised in a poor family and was given the name of David, while his twin brother was the given the name James. His family was approached by Rumpelstiltskin and were asked if they would give a son to the King, James is chosen to leave. David becomes a shepherd, but years later his brother was killed and David  was asked to replace him. Posing as James he was to slay a dragon, and in return was betrothed to King Midas' daughter Abigail. David did not go through with the marriage and ended up falling in love with Snow White. Together they faced adversities with the Evil Queen and had a daughter Emma.

 

Storybrooke

Upon arriving in this land David is placed in a coma by the Evil Queen and is a John Doe. David awakens from the coma and is reunited with his wife Kathryn Nolan. He does not recognize her or remember any of the stories that Kathryn is telling him. He realizes his marriage is over when he begins developing feelings for Mary Margaret.
