Prince Charming

Enchanted Forest

Emma spent very little time in this realm. She is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. Emma was forced to leave the Enchanted Forest immediately after birth. She was sent through a magical wardrobe to our world, as the Evil Queen was about to cast a dark curse on the land.

Storybrooke

When Emma arrived in our world, she was placed in foster care and jumped from family to family. Before arriving in Storybrooke, Emma was a bail bonds person. She gave birth to a boy whom she put up for adoption. The baby boy was adopted by Regina Mills. On her 28th birthday, Emma's son, Henry, came to Boston to find her and informed her that Storybrooke was under the curse of an Evil Queen and she was the only person who could break the curse, as she was the Savior.

Video 1: Rumpelstiltskin reveals the Prophecy

The Evil Queen places a dark curse on the Enchanted Forest in an effort to destroy the happiness of Snow White, Prince Charming, and their baby, Emma.

King Herod is visited by the Magi as they search for the baby Jesus. Without knowing, they warn him that a threat to his power has been born. In an effort to kill Jesus, Herod orders all babies under the age of two in Bethlehem be killed.

The Evil Queen was fulfilling Rumpelstiltskin's prophecy. Reference Video 1.

Herod was fulfilling the Bible prophecy.

Rumpelstiltskin represents the Magi in this situation, signalling baby Emma is special. Rumpelstiltskin, a powerful dark force, recognizes Emma as the Savior.

The Magi signal baby Jesus is special. The Magi are wise and powerful and claim that Jesus is the prophesized Savior.

Emma is of royal lineage, being born to a Prince & Princess. She is raised as an ordinary child by foster parents (ordinary people).

Jesus is born the Son of God. He is referred to as the Prince of Peace. He is raised as an ordinary child by Mary & Joseph (ordinary people).

Emma only find out about her destiny as the Savior when she is 28 years old.

Jesus only fulfills his prophecy as the Savior of Mankind when He is crucified at the age of 33.

"And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world." - 1 John 4:14
