Henry Mills

Storybrooke

Henry Mills only exists in one world. The world that contains Storybrooke. Henry is the biological son of Emma Swan, and is the adoptive son of Regina Mills. Henry is an outcast with no friends. He is given a book of fairy tales by his teacher, Mary Margaret. As Henry starts to read these stories he discovers that the people in the stories are actually the townspeople  in Storybrooke. He realizes that the town is under a curse by the Evil Queen and that he must find the "Savior" so the curse can be broken. Many of the towns residents believe that Henry has some sort of psychological problem, and his mother, Regina, out of fear that he will discover the truth, made arrangements for him to see a psychologist. Henry, against everyone's beliefs, leaves Storybrooke to find his biological mother, Emma, so she can come and rid these people from the Dark Curse.

Religious Connection?

Henry Mills represents a Christian. He has the heart of a truest believer. He, like most Christians, is a follower of the Savior. Henry worships the book of Fairytales, like Christians worship the Bible. He believes that everything in the book is true, even though many people have told him different. He knew that something was wrong, and he held on to his beliefs.

Early Christians were persecuted and ostracized because of their religious beliefs.      This is very similar to Henry. Henry never had any friends, and the townspeople thought there was something psychologically wrong with him because of what he believed in.
